However, before fossil fuels can be completely replaced, our aim must be to use the resource mineral oil as efficiently as possible and thus reduce CO2 emissions in particular. Alternative fuel concepts are one of the most important areas of activity where we see development perspectives for individual transport. In particular, the 2nd generation synthetic fuels together with associated engine technologies offer great savings potential for energy and CO2. We have entered into several international cooperation projects to advance development. In practical tests we try out usage under various conditions.
