Environmental Data from the Sites

The environmental data of the Volkswagen brand are part of the Volkswagen Group's sustainability reporting. In addition to group-wide environmental key data and environmental key data aggregated according to brand groups from the Group Sustainability Report or the Group Sustainability Portal, the individual brands and companies publish their key data independently.

For the Volkswagen brand, the environmental data on the internet continue the many years of reporting in the Volkswagen Environment Report. In future, these data will be available at all times and exclusively documented on the internet, updated annually. The environmental data refer to 24 production sites worldwide. The site Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegovina) is not considered. The production sites worldwide are assessed according to ISO 14001 or the EC Eco Audit Regulation. Throughout the entire Volkswagen Group, a dedicated standard (VW Standard 98 000) applies to the recording of the environmental data; the individual sites have already been identifying their data on this basis for many years.
