The starting and locking system with radio remote control features a world first: the “Press & Drive“ comfort start function on the dash. A sender, which is also used to operate the central locking, is inserted into the unit to the right of the steering wheel. Pressing it starts the engine. This is a real boost to comfort levels, as there is no need for an ignition key in the conventional sense.
