There is no visible roll bar to disturb the classic line of the New Beetle Cabriolet, yet the roll bar is in place whenever it's needed. Concealed behind the rear seat backs, it springs into position in fractions of a second in the event of the vehicle rolling over. To ensure things never get that far, the vehicle is fitted with driver assistance systems such as ABS, ASR and ESP to help it master critical driving situations.
