Owing to the introduction of new models and the rise in production output, metallic waste volumes have increased over the reporting period as a whole. However, improved material utilisation and resource-optimised manufacturing processes led to a drop in metallic waste per vehicle produced. At the same time, thanks to optimised waste segregation and treatment, recycling rates were improved.
