The car's interior matches its dynamic exterior look. The special sports seats bear the typical GTI "Interlagos" pattern; the sports steering wheel, gear knob and gaiter and handbrake handle are all leather-trimmed. Another highlight is the metallic detailing: the look and feel of the metal-style centre console, air vents and gear knob shift diagram is a refined touch.

Really practical!

The sportiness of the Polo GTI certainly doesn't mean other considerations are neglected: practicality, high-quality workmanship, lots of stowage space (up to 1,030 litres capacity) and a variable rear seat are featured as a matter of course. And the tried-and-tested body design allied to front and side airbags, with a deactivatable front passenger airbag, means passive safety is well covered.
